Rarely can the NCISAA boast that it has the best runner in the state. However, this year, our association clearly has the top girls runner in North Carolina in Ravenscroft School's Wesley Frazier. Ms. Frazier, who is just a freshman, is completely re-writing the record books in the state of North Carolina. She has run the fastest recorded time in the history of the state at 17:05.09. At 4 feet 11 and weighing 78 pounds, Ms. Frazier might go unnoticed except that she finishes first in every race that she has ever run at the varsity level.
